Share What You Learn About Meditation
Maybe there is somebody in your circle that you feel may benefit from meditation – perhaps they would join you now and then to make the experience last longer, and make your connection with each other more meaningful. This is a great way of you being able to share your experience with meditation as it also fulfils not only the important activity of connecting your mind to your body, but also makes the bond with your friend stronger.
Many people are now re-evaluating friendships in today’s world as times are changing rapidly. More people are becoming less interested in the superficial nature of society and yearn for something more meaningful. Forming a meditation circle can tick both boxes of connecting with yourself and connecting with others at the same. This will make your friendships deeper.
Your Knowledge Can Help Others
Your knowledge can also help others to connect with themselves. When I first started teaching Ki Gong, which really covers every aspect of life, I met this really stressed, over anxious girl, who cut her sentences short, and could not bear to be in a too long a conversation because of her anxiety and stress.
She came to the classes on a regular basis, and sometimes, if the class was a little hard for her, she would come to the front all the way from the back of the room and tell me at the end, if I carried on teaching like that, she would never come back. I would not see her for a few weeks and she would then come back.
Sharing what you know about meditation changes lives
Then I noticed she had changed her hair. She had brought some new clothes to train in, and she was conversing with the other people in the class. She was actually selling the class to the new people coming in every week also.
This was amazing in itself. But what really touched me the deepest is when she reported back to me at one family gathering at Christmas she was at, she actually taught a couple of the technique’s I had shown her to her family, who had started getting on each other’s nerves and the arguments started to rise.
She did the techniques and the rest of the day went peacefully and all had a great time. My heart melted to see what good these techniques had done not only for her, but her family situation. That is why I do this, is because I see so many stressed, anxious and even depressed people, all feeling not worthy of living the life they deserve, and helping them back to a place where they can be who they want to be.
