Is extreme empathy a mental disorder? Some one wrote to me in a private message claiming that extreme empathy is a mental disorder. I find that quite an astonishing statement. And they also went on to say that feeling nothing for people is normal and being empathetic is where the mental disorder is.
This really shows me how far human beings have fallen from the amazing places we could be. We can be empathetic and open to everything. But trust has fallen away from our existence with each other on this planet. And when you watch documentaries like Super Human, we then realise our potential is actually far more than we can imagine.
Trust really comes from your own personal intuition. And this intuition is a major part of you actually being a real authentic human being. And this all stems from your pineal gland, or what is also known as your sixth chakra. We have been so polarised in this world today, and it is so full of hypocrisy, we are beginning to trust nothing. And that even means ourselves and our intuition.
People’s Intuition Is Declining
For so many people, our sense of intuition is declining and we are going with whatever whim or fancy that floats into our conscious awareness. And this is leading to a narcissistic, sociopathic society that is centred on itself in such a bad way, there could never be any collaboration with trust.
To trust yourself is to connect with yourself deeply. And if you are such an empath where you feel everyone in a room, to me, that is a good thing. But you need to learn how to create boundaries for yourself. You need to use your energy wisely. And not just cut the feeling of empathy out altogether.
This is what this person has done who messaged me. And of course, the person was dead set in their own opinion. No need for me to say anything else, but move on. There is really no point in arguing with someone else’s ego. They are stuck in their safety blanket. And that safe place will lead to much internal unhappiness because they are stuck.
Extreme Empathy Cannot Change Other People
We always must remember we cannot change other people. We can only change ourselves. It is like the old saying, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. Drink from the fountain of knowledge and learn to live again. Let your sensitivity shine in your life and others will see you for the star you are.
I look forward to connecting with you in my next post.
Until then, be well and keep shining.
Peter.
